Donna's Estate Sale Preview

As many of my friends know, I have been talking about downsizing for the last year. You know as you get older your priorities change and so does your taste. Well as you know I have been collecting antiques since I was 16 years old and I am now going to part with alot of them. Here are just a few of the things I will be getting rid of. If you are interested in any of these items please contact me soon because I know that they will go fast. I have a lot of friends that have been eyeing them for years.


This armoire is huge and houses our television. It is sectioned off into three sections. The center has the original metal pole to hang your clothes. This is a great piece of furniture and is worth approx. $2,000. I am selling it for $600 (SOLD)

This is an old sewing machine with all of the original hardware including the leather belt that turns the wheel. It is in excellent condition and I'm asking $100.00 for it.

This beautiful antique table has a lot of detail to the sides of it. This table is great because the leafs to it are self contained. It actually opens to extend the table. The chairs of course are not original, they are just reproductions. I have put a glass top on the table to preserve the top. I'm asking $300 for the set.

This is a very old desk that I have had for over twenty years. It has carving on the drawer front and has all of the original hardware in the drawers. I'm asking $100.00

This is an antique amoire that is great for storing your linens or old quilts. I have enjoyed it for many years. It's in great condition and I'm asking $150.00

These are just a few of the big items that I am getting rid of in the next couple of months so keep looking for more goodies.

I have had this hoosier for many years and have enjoyed using it as my baking center. I've rolled many pastries on this metal counter. It actually pulls out and slides back in when your done. It has the original roll top that I have removed but it can be put back on to close it all up. The hardware is also original. If you know of anyone who is interested in this hoosier I am selling it for $300.

Door to Door....

For some reason this month doors are the only thing that comes to mind. I am doing alot of door knocking this month. I apologize for neglecting my blog but I will have to catch up with you next month. I'm sure I will have plenty to share in September. I will be going to Hawaii and to San Elijo with the girls.
