My Hawaiian Adventure!!!!

After I got over the initial shock that I got on a plane and after a few Xanex, I was actually able to take this picture of us coming in to the Hawaiian island of Kauai. I can't wait for that drink with an umbrella in it!

We all sat together...Eddie, Fi, Chris, my mom and then me at the window. Oh Joy!

My first drink!! Of course, with an umbrella in it!

This is the condo that Eddie got for me and my mom. It had a great view of the ocean and two bedrooms upstairs.

Now I'm ready to do what I came here to do.

RELAX. See...I'm relaxing!

First day in Kauai and we're sightseeing and what do we see? A sign for Pasteles! Go figure, we are in a hawaiian island and we find a vender selling Puerto Rican food!! I love it!

It was hilarious how many chickens there are on this island! They just hung out with us on the beach.

It's a small cove, so I thought.....'til this huge cruise ship went by.

The water didn't even look

This flower bud was huge and it looked like it was made of wax. This is just one of the beautiful flowers that bloom in beautiful Kauai.

Eddie took us all out on a Catamaran ride to the Napali Coast. Here's mom relaxing.

We went to Duke's for snack's and of course, DRINKS!

Here's Chris (Felicia's Mom) and Patti (her mom's bestfriend) and Felicia. We were all having a girls lunch the day we were leaving.

The first day in Kauai, Eddie and Felicia took us site seeing. The island is just beautiful with all of its greenery. This is a lookout point overlooking some fields.

This lush forest made them look very small in

compared to the trees. I expected some

creature to come out of those trees!

I have no idea what this drink was but it had a lot of Vodka and it was very refreshing!!!! Our bartender Curt was just great, he makes us all of these special drinks. He knows my brother Eddie and his wife Felicia from their previous visits. He even had his wife bring us some Pasteles that he had in his freezer. He made us feel right at home!

What On My Agenda This Week? Hmmm.....

Let's see....I'm thinking about beautiful sun drenched beaches, relaxation and a drink with an umbrella in it.....

This is my idea of relaxation!!! The beach, and a good book! I'm not even thinking of work!!! The only thing missing is my favorite guy, Kim. I wish he could have come with me, that would have made this trip perfect! But I will have to press on and just try not to have too much fun! I will have to have an extra drink with an umbrella in it just for him.

I'm going to Hawaii !!!!! I'll be sure to take a lot of photos, ok.
