It's friday night, and I could be relaxing with my husband, but noooooo, my crazy, creative, Kooky friend Tina is at my house harassing me about not having a blog. So here it is!!!

Hello It's Me......

I thought it was time to update my picture since I am another year older now. Yes, I am now 63!!!! Yikes!!!! And I'm REALLY starting to feel my age!!! A lot has happened in the past two years and I'm sure that I'm not the only one feeling the stress from this crazy world we live in. But you just have to keep on doing your best with what you have! This is the reason for my motto written above (If life hands you lemons....make lemon-aid). I am still keeping very busy doing anything that is needed in Jehovah's service and just trying to survive like the rest of humankind! My hope in writing this blog is to encourage you and to keep you informed of what is going on in my life lately. To all my blogging friends and family, Enjoy!

The Meaning of True Friendship

A true friend is someone that you may not always see all of the time or you may not have seen in a long time but you can resume your friendship when you reunite, just as if you have seen that person yesterday. They don't get offended because you haven't called, they are just glad to see you once again. They know your faults, yet they still love you. You can argue with them and get mad at them yet you can just pick up where you left off and still love them. A true friend cares what is going on in your life and is there to listen when you need him or her. A true friend is not one sided. Doesn't expect you to just to be there for them, but will also be there for you. A true friend will not gossip about you to others. They will be your confidant. A true friend will not be afraid to tell you when you are going on the wrong path because they love you and they will say something even if the truth hurts. A true friend will be truthful with you even though it might hurt. A true friend is hard to come by and should always be cherished. I hope that I have been a true friend to those who have been a part of my life......Donna Horn
