Belknap Hotsprings - camping and exploring with old & new friends........

Now we are at Belknap Hotsprings

Camping with friends is always relaxing......

One of the days that we were in Belknap Hotsprings we went exploring with our new friends
Bob and Carol Johnson....
We went through Crater Lake on our way to
a town called Sisters to shop...

Crater Lake was amazing!!!!

Never saw anything like this......

Miles and miles of volcanic rock formed
from a volcano eruption!!!

Absolutely Beautiful site!!!
Sisters peaks....

This lookout fort was formed out of volcanic rock....
So cool inside and you go up to the roof top and see everything....

Pathway up to the lookout fort...

View from the top of the lookout point....

These window were formed to lookout and see the peaks....

Each window was directed at a different peak.....

Mt. Washington is where this window directed you....
I wish my camera would have captured it......

Bummer.....too bright for the camera to capture Little Belknap Crater.....

And so on.....
And so on............

Inside the lookout fort....

One of the views from on top of the lookout....
See how small the people look on the path below......

This is at the top of the lookout fort.

We had a blast with our new friends
Bob and Carol Johnson who we met
at the Kingdom Hall in Salem, Oregon.

We had so much in common that it felt like we have known each other for years!!!.....

They decided to join us in Belknap Hotsprings to camp and we spent this day exploring together!!

They also took us to Sisters a small town to have lunch
and
do some shopping!!!!

You see the funniest things when you visit small towns.

Had to take a picture of this house covered in denim!

Oh, and the legs peaking out of the chimney!

Alpaca or Llama???

Couldn't resist snapping this precious photo
of our friend and flower child
Amy Hydock....

Amy is such a flower child....
Love it!!!

Valerie is trying to get a shot of a dragon fly....

You wouldn't be in Oregon if you didn't see one of the many carved trees....
Here's a carved bear....

Part of RV living....
Time to dump on our way back home.....
