We went back to Florence, Oregon
on our way back home
to California
for two reasons.....
One, because our friends Larry and Kris
called and said that they had a smoker that a neighbor
was giving away....
And since we arrived in Oregon
Kim has been coveting everyone's
smokers!!
Everywhere we go here they are smoking their meat!!!
Kim was determined that he was going to get one as soon as we got home
but then Larry called....
And what better excuse was there to return
to beautiful Florence, Oregon!!!
We couldn't have arrived in better time because
Kris had a few days off from work
and this enabled us to do
some more exploring with them!
They took us down the coast to Coos bay.....

| If you look real hard, in the near center of this picture I noticed that someone actually hiked down this cliff and created a stone stack....look just above to the right of the big rock (center of the pic at the base of the water) |

We also visited some beautiful botanical gardens
while we visited the coastal area
on our way to Coos Bay.
We left the botanical gardens
and
headed to Coos Bay
where
Kris and Larry
took us to their favorite Italian Restaurant....

| One of the places we stayed while in Florence Oregon was South Jetty, a Thousand Trails campground. This was our view from our fifth-wheel.... Very woodsy, but tight sights and no sewer hook-ups. I am spoiled now with full-hookups!!! |
